40 Hours Per Week (8 Hours Per Day) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Welder / Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in welding and metal fabrication, be capable of working independently, and possess a strong commitment to quality and safety. This position involves performing MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, fabricating and assembling various metal components, and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to complete projects accurately and efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals and materials. Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, components, and equipment according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. Operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and material requirements. Assist with general shop and fabrication duties as needed. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding . Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication methods, and shop safety practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and workmanship. Ability to lift and carry materials, equipment, and tools as required. Requirements Must provide and maintain basic welding gear, hand tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary to perform job duties. Must have reliable transportation and maintain dependable attendance. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding work for extended periods. Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week . Overtime opportunities may be available based on workload and project demands.
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
