  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mig Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to work with various materials, particularly in the fabrication of sheet metal components. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
  • Duties
  • Perform Mig welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards and codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Fabricate other sheet metal components according to design requirements.
  • Utilize power tools, hand tools, and micrometers for precise measurements and adjustments during the welding process.
  • Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Mig Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards relevant to the industry.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
  • Familiarity with fabrication techniques and sheet metal work.
  • Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments such as micrometers effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
