Previous welding experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is required. Experience with both MIG and TIG welding of steel tubing is preferred. Must be familiar with the use of welding jigs. Dominate Your Competition with BMR Suspension! This is a 1st shift position. The work hours are 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. There are (3) open welding positions. One is an entry-level position that pays $18.00-$20.00 per hour. One is a mid-level welding position that pays $20.00-$22.00 per hour. The other is an experienced level position that pays $23.00-$25.00 per hour to start and will become a piece rate welder position that pays over $30.00 per hour. Qualifications and Skills The following requirements must be met: Must be a dynamic, high energy person (no slackers) Strong mechanical aptitude Must be intelligent Must pass a drug test No felony convictions Safety conscious Applicants must be intelligent, must have strong values, must have a history of company loyalty, and must be interested in American muscle cars. Experience with metal fab equipment such as a cold saw, tube bender, band saw, iron worker, milling machine, and drill press is a plus. Priority will be given to people who own and/or wrench on hot rods and race cars. Priority will be given to people with a military background.
