This position is ideal for a skilled welding professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision on aircraft components. The right candidate will be comfortable reading blueprints, preparing metal materials, and performing high-quality welds using TIG, MIG, and aluminum welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures, welding equipment, and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
The Day-to-Day:
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions Measure, cut, and prepare metal materials for welding projects Perform TIG, MIG, and aluminum welding on aircraft components Weld metal parts together according to specifications and quality requirements Work with thin-gauge materials while maintaining clean, precise welds Use, inspect, and maintain welding tools and equipment Check finished welds for accuracy, strength, and overall quality Repair damaged or defective metal components as needed Follow all safety rules and wear the required protective gear Communicate with team members to complete work efficiently and correctly
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Previous welding experience required Experience with TIG, MIG, and aluminum welding techniques Must be able to perform precision welding on aircraft components Experience working with thin-gauge materials required Strong understanding of high-quality weld standards Ability to read blueprints, measurements, and technical instructions Aviation or aerospace welding experience preferred Must follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
Pay Rate:
$28.00 to $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, morning shift Occasional weekends as needed
