In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. You will work on diverse projects that require a strong understanding of blueprint reading, fabrication techniques, and welding processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction and manufacturing projects, ensuring safety, accuracy, and durability in every piece you create. Your expertise will help drive project success while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join metals according to industry standards. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural components. Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Fabricate components by cutting, bending, assembling, and welding metal parts in accordance with ASME codes & standards. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times during fabrication or site work. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with hands-on welding and fabrication skills. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and specific welding techniques. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, pipe threading equipment, and machining tools effectively. Familiarity with rigging practices, crane operation basics, forklift operation certification preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication projects. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication projects. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of pipe threading, soldering, assembly processes, and schematic interpretation. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently on manufacturing or construction sites under safety guidelines.
