Night Shift Job Description We are seeking an Entry-Level Steel Welder for our night shift operation in Ocala, FL. This role is responsible for assembling and welding steel components using MIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will assist with the set-up, layout, and tack-up of precision frame weldments and brackets while maintaining tight tolerances. This position requires the ability to read and interpret complicated blueprints and perform both horizontal and vertical welding. Responsibilities MIG weld milled steel and stainless steel components Perform horizontal and vertical down plug welds Set up, lay out, and tack-up precision frame weldments and brackets Square, align, and weld various component shapes Weld precision frames to exact tolerances Read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics Maintain a safe and clean work environment Essential Job Functions Weld in both vertical and horizontal planes Assemble steel structures according to specifications Ensure weld quality meets required tolerances Required Skills MIG welding Blueprint reading General welding skills Top Skills Welding MIG Experience Level Entry Level (training, coursework, or limited hands-on experience acceptable) Work Environment Manufacturing / fabrication shop Night shift schedule Standing, lifting, and working with steel materials required Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive and safe workplace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
