Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating and welding various metal components, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal fabrication, ductwork assembly, and possess strong mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and welding requirements
• Fabricate and weld metal components using various techniques such as soldering, brazing, and welding
• Assemble fabricated parts to form complete units or subassemblies
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as needed
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure proper dimensions
• Operate forklifts or rigging equipment to move materials or finished products as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
• Familiarity with ductwork assembly is preferred
• Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Ability to solder, assemble, and weld metal components accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
• Experience operating forklifts or rigging equipment is a plus
