Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work on various projects in a manufacturing or construction environment. This role requires proficiency in multiple welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork, ensuring adherence to ASME codes and standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise fabrication work. Conduct pipe threading and assembly tasks as required for specific projects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process, applying mechanical knowledge as necessary. Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in dimensions. Experience Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a construction or manufacturing environment is essential. Familiarity with various welding techniques Experience with rigging processes and mechanical assembly is advantageous. Basic math skills are required for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Knowledge of machining processes is a plus, along with experience in soldering when necessary. A strong understanding of safety practices related to welding and fabrication is crucial for this role.
