Aluminum High school diploma or GED Welding Certification Blueprint dimension interpretation Isometric drawings Assembly drawings Gas metal arc welding Full Job Description Conduct MIG welding process on aluminum plate, extrusion, bar and tubing. Read blueprints and perform shop math converting fraction to decimal to layout, fabricate and weld various parts and assemblies. layout, fabricate and weld various parts and assemblies. Perform all manner of welding procedures as prescribed in AWS and ASME publications for MIG and STICK welding (SMAW) on multiple types of metals in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions (REVO will require a heavy concentration of MIG Welding Aluminum) Use grinder, sander, rivet guns, saws and other air tools, as well as read English, imperial (standard) tape measures and use measuring devices to convert fraction to decimal. Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter, lack of fusion, craters Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English Maintain a safe work environment while also performing maintenance on welding equipment when necessary Required education, skills and experiences to be successful: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years of experience in welding using Mig or Tig welding machines Must pass and maintain in house AWS Welder Certification. Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
