We're looking for skilled fabricators who take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and consistently deliver clean, accurate results. The Welder Fabricator performs high-quality fabrication and welding of steel, stainless, and aluminum components used in commercial and light structural applications. This role requires the ability to work independently from shop drawings to produce accurate, clean, and install-ready components, supporting both in-shop fabrication and field installation. What We're Looking For Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision Pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and clean finished work Ability to read drawings and think through fabrication steps before execution Reliable, consistent, and team-oriented Willingness to support both shop work and occasional field installation Job Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to fabricate metal components to spec. Perform grinding, fitting, and finishing to prepare components for installation. Fabricate brackets, stiffeners, and other supports using layout tools and tape measures. Stage and prepare fabricated materials for delivery or installation. Communicate with Lead Fabricator or Superintendent to ensure scope and fitment are accurate. Load tools, materials, and components to support field installations as needed. Report fabrication errors, inconsistencies, or issues proactively. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols. Assist in mentoring and training Welding Helpers to develop their technical skills and understanding of fabrication processes. Wear and maintain required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including gloves, safety glasses, welding helmets, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, and respirators as required. Adhere to all safety standards in both shop and field environments Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a fabricator working with steel, stainless, and aluminum. Experience in MIG, Stick welding techniques (TIG experience a plus). High level of proficiency in reading shop drawings and executing complex layouts. Skilled with hand and power tools related to fabrication. Understanding of jobsite safety and tool/equipment care. Valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen upon hire. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
