Job Description
Welder Technician We are hiring a skilled Welder Technician to join our team in Atlanta. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for welding and repairing metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. You will be working with various types of metals, such as steel, aluminum, and iron, using different welding techniques like MIG, TIG, and ARC.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Measure and cut metal pieces accurately
- Weld metal components using various techniques such as
MIG, TIG, ARC
- Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
- Repair damaged metal components by welding and reshaping them
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition
- Follow safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Welder or Welding Technician
- In-depth knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in measuring tools such as calipers and rulers
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
