Iron Works specializes in ornamental stairwells/staircase, handrails, and gates. We also provide custom fabrication on request. We are expanding and are looking to hire an additional welder. We are looking for an individual that works well with a team, dependable in following through on deadlines, and learning agility that drives continuous growth. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements and produce a high quality end-product Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding) Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accurate cuts and fits Operate forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work during fabrication processes Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, and plasma cutting techniques Experience working with sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural steel fabrication Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, machining equipment, and rigging operations Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a manufacturing or construction environment Join our team where craftsmanship meets innovation!
