Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications and blueprints. Your expertise will ensure the highest levels of quality and safety in our production processes. You will work closely with our engineers and production staff to understand project requirements and to maintain the integrity of our products. Attention to detail is critical in this role, as you will be expected to perform precision welding on a variety of materials including carbon steel, galvanized steel, and some stainless steel and aluminum. This role promises a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on various metals and alloys. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for welding. Set up welding equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and operational. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and conformity to requirements. Collaborate with team members on projects and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations while performing welding tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent plus technical training or equal experience Minimum 6 months of welding experience in a manufacturing environment Must be able to read and understand welding drawings Must be able to read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings and perform normal math calculations easily Must be detail, quality, and team-oriented Must be able to walk and stand throughout a ten (10) hour day Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds Must be a self-starter and continued self-motivator Demonstrate a high level of work ethic B-Shift hours are as follows: 6:00 am- 6:30 pm Friday-Sunday (36 hours) Shift differential will be +$5.00/hr.
