You will utilize your expertise in FCAW processes to ensure every assembly meets rigorous engineering standards and project timelines. Responsibilities Interpret complex blueprints and technical weld symbols to execute precise assembly of metal structures. Perform high-quality flux core arc welding on diverse structural steel components to ensure structural integrity. Manage the end-to-end fitting and alignment process to guarantee that all fabricated parts meet exact dimensional specifications. Operate essential fabrication machinery, including industrial saws, torches, and grinding tools, to prepare materials for assembly. Conduct thorough quality inspections on finished welds to verify compliance with industry strength and safety requirements. Maintain a high-efficiency workspace by adhering to strict safety protocols and organizational standards. Collaborate with the production team to move materials and meet critical project milestones. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in flux core welding and metal fitting within an industrial setting. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, squares, and tape measures. Ability to successfully pass a hands-on weld assessment. Strong commitment to workplace safety and consistent attendance. Preferred Skills Experience with heavy fabrication or structural steel manufacturing. Advanced knowledge of FCAW techniques and equipment maintenance. Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varied shop conditions.
