Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder Helper to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled welders in preparing materials, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety standards are maintained on site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your welding and fabrication skills while contributing to large-scale projects across various industries. Your energy and enthusiasm will help drive project success and support the team in delivering high-quality results efficiently. Duties Assist welders with material handling, including loading, unloading, and positioning sheet metal, pipe, and ductwork components for welding and fabrication tasks Prepare work areas by setting up hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment required for welding operations Support welding processes such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <

> welding by holding or positioning materials as directed Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate assembly and fabrication Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions according to schematics and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards Assist with rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and operating press brake machines as needed for fabrication tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly Skills Construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety practices Proficiency in
MIG, TIG, FCAW
