The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in working on construction sites. The Tig Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) techniques, ensuring adherence to safety standards and industry codes. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on various materials, including stainless steel and aluminum, ensuring high-quality welds. Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances. Operate rigging equipment safely and efficiently during the welding process. Collaborate with the machining team to fabricate parts according to specifications. Set up and operate press brake machines for bending metal components as needed. Conduct plasma cutting for material preparation prior to welding. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding codes/standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Inspect finished products for quality assurance before delivery or installation. Qualifications Proven experience as a Tig Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficient in using welding equipment and tools, including TIG welders, plasma cutters, micrometers, calipers, and press brake machines. Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and industry standards/codes. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
