Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding and fabrication tasks to produce high-quality metal components and structures. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings. Responsibilities Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding to assemble metal parts according to specifications. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings accurately. Fabricate custom metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials with precision. Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Assist in facilities maintenance tasks, including repairs and upgrades of manufacturing equipment. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting of systems. Collaborate with team members to supervise projects, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met. Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Support manufacturing processes by adhering to production schedules and quality control procedures. Provide customer service by addressing client specifications and ensuring satisfaction with fabricated products. Requirements Proven experience in welding, fabrication, or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams. Electrical experience, including troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is desirable. Familiarity with facilities maintenance, CMMS software, and general maintenance procedures. Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team-leading experience preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration across teams. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of residential painting is a plus but not required.
