Experienced Welder Fabricator Americas Gold & Silver | Kellogg, Idaho | Full-time | On-site Job Description Americas Gold & Silver is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team at Mine Fab in Kellogg, Idaho. This hands-on role is responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining mining and industrial equipment to support safe and efficient operations. The successful candidate will bring strong welding and fabrication expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work on mining and industrial equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications. Repair and rebuild structural components, piping, conveyors, chutes, and heavy equipment. Operate welding equipment, torches, grinders, and fabrication tools safely and efficiently. Perform stick, MIG, and TIG welding on a variety of metals and materials. Inspect equipment and completed welds to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met. Assist with preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

High school diploma or GED.

Required:

Minimum of five (5) years of welding and fabrication experience in industrial, mining, or heavy equipment environments. Proficiency in stick, MIG, and TIG welding techniques. Experience operating fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, grinders, and torches. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience with heavy equipment repair preferred. Valid driver's license required. MSHA certification or willingness to obtain preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
