Welder/Fabricator

Fab Tec Inc. is looking to hire a full time experienced and dependable fabricator/welder.

Job Responsibilities:

• Welding and fabricating various parts and pieces.
• Operate forklift, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes.
• Ability to use shop tools such as wire feed welder, grinders, band saws, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, and various hand tools.
• Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly.
• Communicate to management about machinery and quality issues as they arise on a consistent basis.
• Have problem solving skills.
• Possess a keen sense of attention to detail.
• Must be able to be work 40+ hours per week. (Monday-Friday) Education, experience and skills required:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in steel fabrication and or welding preferred.
• Must follow written and verbal details to complete assignments.
• Must be able to do shop math proficiently. Able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and outstanding organizational skills.

Physical Capabilities and Requirements:

Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50-75 lbs. Able to stand, sit, stoop, crawl and work in various positions throughout the work day. Fab Tec Inc. offers the ability to be a part of an ESOP, 401K, and a healthy insurance program. (Medical, dental, and vision.)
