Job details Summary Spherion $18.00 per hour Temp to Perm 4:00 AM - 2:30 AM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_176313 Job details Spherion Staffing Services is looking to fill an immediate need for Entry Level Welder with an Aerospace Manufacturing company in Post Falls. Are you a detail-oriented individual with a steady hand and an interest in aviation? We are seeking Entry-Level Plastic Welders to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will learn the specialized art of welding high-performance thermoplastics (such as Kydex, Boltaron, or PEEK) used in aircraft interiors and components. No prior welding experience is required-we will train the right candidate. Put your skills to work in a fast growing company that promotes from within. ... Shift is Mon-Thur, 4-10 hour days with start times between 4am-6am Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Spherion offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, Washington paid sick leave, an incentive and recognition program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
Responsibilities:
Learn to use hot-air welding torches and "filler rod" techniques to fuse thermoplastic sheets and components. Learn to interpret aerospace technical drawings and assembly instructions. Use hand tools, routers, and deburring tools to clean and finish welded joints to a seamless, "flight-ready" standard. Work with specialized aerospace polymers, ensuring they remain free of contaminants and scratches.

Mechanical Aptitude:
You enjoy working with your hands (experience in model building, upholstery, electronics, or basic shop class is a huge plus). High level of manual dexterity and the ability to maintain a consistent "travel speed" while welding. High School Diploma or equivalent. Good attendance record and a commitment to safety protocols.
