The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves fabricating and welding components according to specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other team members to build and assemble products while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Fabricate and weld metal components based on engineering drawings and specifications. Utilize hand tools, micrometers, and calipers for precise measurements and adjustments. Perform pipe threading as required for specific projects. Execute stick welding and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques to ensure strong, durable welds. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process. Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control. Requirements Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments. Familiarity with pipe threading techniques is highly desirable. Ability to perform stick welding and FCAW effectively. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
