Requirements MUST pass weld test Recent Welding Trade School degree/certification required Experience or training in
MIG & TIG
welding Comfortable welding thin material Able to read blueprints Experience using calipers and micrometers Responsibilities
MIG & TIG
production welding on thin-gauge metal parts Build products such as shelves, tables, cabinets, and store fixtures Read blueprints and assemble/weld parts using JIGs Tack and finish welds to print specifications Maintain quality and production output standards Training & Expectations First month includes hands-on training and shadowing with the lead welder By the end of the first month, candidates should be able to independently read blueprints and fabricate completed products
