  • Thursday | 4:45 AM
  • 3:15 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts) Friday overtime as required

00/hour (based on qualifications and weld test results) About the Opportunity Our client is an industry-leading manufacturer specializing in water heating and treatment solutions and Industrial Laundry Equipment . We are currently seeking a Welder-Fitter to join our client's growing team. This position is unique in that we are not an open-market weld shop . As an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), the selected individual will fabricate weldments and assemblies for our own proprietary product lines . Candidates will work on products that directly support our operations and long-term growth.
We are seeking either:
A well-rounded and experienced Welder-Fitter ready to contribute immediately, or A motivated individual with foundational skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to long-term growth through an apprenticeship-style training program We recognize that every candidate will have a learning curve and are willing to invest in individuals who demonstrate dedication, reliability, and the right attitude. Essential Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components and assemblies Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Layout projects and fabrication tasks from blueprints Fabricate and assemble weldments according to specifications. Ensure welds are leak-free and meet quality standards. Utilize proper fabrication methods and best practices for fit, form, and function. Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and effectively. Maintain attention to detail while producing high-quality work. Assist with assembly and production activities as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications Required Skills & Experience:
TIG welding experience with stainless and mild steel Basic shop math skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience performing layout work from blueprints Ability to use measuring tools, including: Tape measures Calipers Experience using fabrication and shop tools, including: Grinders Sanders Plasma cutters Strong mechanical aptitude Detail-oriented with a quality-focused mindset Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing or OEM environments Fabrication and assembly experience Candidates interested in long-term growth and skill development What Our Client Offers Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday schedule) Competitive pay based on experience and weld test results Overtime opportunities Long-term career growth potential Apprenticeship and development opportunities for motivated individuals Opportunity to become part of a growing, stable organization We are seeking individuals who want more than just a job — we're looking for someone interested in building a long-term career and growing alongside our organization.
