Job Description

Position Overview Metal Culverts, Inc. is hiring a full-time Welder for our Monmouth, IL facility (706 W 3rd Ave). This role supports production by welding of galvanized steel and assembling manufactured components to specification, helping keep quality throughout the project.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform production welding and basic fabrication work Read and follow work instructions, measurements, and weld requirements Inspect welds for quality and rework as needed Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow shop safety practices Required qualifications: Welding school with certificate or minimum 1-year of related work experience. A Typical Shift You'll work onsite Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. The day starts with getting set up at your station, checking materials, and reviewing what needs to be built. Throughout the shift you'll move between welding and fabrication tasks, coordinating with co-workers as work flows through the shop. You'll pace your work to meet production needs, pause to confirm fit and finish, and wrap up by cleaning up your area and getting set for the next day. Background check required for position.
