DESCRIPTION

Rebuilds undercarriage components for revenue customers and the Company Exchange Program.

Compensation:

up to $27.05 per hour.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent One year previous mechanical experience Ability to read and comprehend repair manuals Ability to use micrometer and other basic measuring tools General knowledge of welding and the use of torch for heating and welding May be required to possess a Commercial Driver's License based on department operational needs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to stand for extended time periods Must be able to work in high temperature environment Assists in or directly disassembles, cleans, inspects, make repairs, and assembles undercarriage components Training in the operation of various machinery to fulfill reconditioning requirements to include Idler Welders, Roller assembly and disassembly tooling and Track Presses Works with hazardous waste and receives Hazardous Waste Training every year Must be able to work overtime including weekends, as required Performs other duties as necessary and assigned
