On-site Job Summary:
Our confidential manufacturing client is seeking a hands-on TIG Welder / Fabricator to support a high-mix, low-volume production environment within a regulated repair and manufacturing facility. This role requires an individual who can both fabricate components and execute precision TIG welding — not one or the other. The ideal candidate enjoys working with tight tolerances, interpreting engineering documentation, and producing high-quality components using stainless steel, titanium, and nickel alloys. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson seeking stability, technical growth, and long-term career development in aerospace manufacturing. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven TIG welding experience on thin-wall stainless steel and/or nickel alloys (.030"-.070") Hands-on fabrication experience (cutting, fitting, forming, blending, and prepping parts) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routings, and work instructions Experience working to tight tolerances using precision hand-measuring tools Prior work in a manufacturing or regulated production environment Ability to pass FAA drug screen and background check Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Strong attendance, reliability, and safety mindset
Note:
Candidates must demonstrate experience performing both TIG welding and fabrication tasks as part of their role. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience

standards Experience welding titanium and nickel alloys Experience with orbital welding equipment Torch brazing experience or willingness to be trained FAA A&P certification Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments Day-to-Day Responsibilities Perform precision TIG welding on ducting and engine components Fabricate components by cutting, fitting, forming, cold-working, and prepping materials Interpret engineering routings and blueprints to determine efficient repair or fabrication methods Set up and work within jigs and fixtures to maintain required tolerances Conduct polishing, blending, bead blasting, cleaning, and pressure testing as required Operate orbital welding equipment (training provided if needed) Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and FAA compliance standards Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities Physical and Environment Requirements Physical expectations and working conditions associated with this role may include standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods; frequent reaching and movement throughout the facility; and lifting up to 25 lbs. Work is performed in a manufacturing / shop environment with strict safety and quality requirements.
