Location:
Indianapolis, IN Pay Rate:
$24.00 and up (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (if applicable) Job Summary Mobile Drill International is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in the production of drilling and heavy industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and structural steel components Weld parts according to blueprints, work orders, and weld symbols Set up and operate welding equipment, including wire feeders and gas settings Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and accuracy Grind, clean, and prep materials before and after welding Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and shop safety standards Work closely with fabrication, assembly, and quality teams Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Required Qualifications 1+ year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols Experience welding steel and heavy-gauge materials Proficiency using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares) Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in heavy equipment or industrial manufacturing Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) Experience with grinders, saws, and fabrication tools Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and weld for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment For more information please call Brandy call/text: 463-287-2001 or email #HIGH1 #ZR
