Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic heavy manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality assemblies, ductwork, piping and structural elements that meet strict industry standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble components Perform
MIG, GMAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and other welding techniques to join various metals including plate and pipework Use hand tools, power tools, calipers & micrometers. Conduct fabrication tasks such as plasma cutting, machining, soldering, pipe threading, and rigging to prepare components for assembly or installation Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely to transport materials around the worksite or manufacturing floor Measure materials accurately using calipers and micrometers; perform basic math calculations for dimensions and tolerances Follow safety protocols aligned with ASME codes & standards while working. Assist in the assembly of ductwork, structural frameworks, or mechanical systems according to schematics and technical specifications Maintain a clean and organized workspace; inspect finished work for quality assurance; document work progress as required Experience Proven experience with hands-on fabrication and welding tasks in i manufacturing environments Proficiency in MIG welding, GMAW welding techniques Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings essential for precise fabrication Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, machining equipment, and rigging gear Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices Ability to operate forklifts safely; experience with pipe threading and ductwork installation highly desirable Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks Join us in delivering top-tier craftsmanship through dedication and technical expertise!
