Our skilled engineering and fabrication teams are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and solutions tailored to our clients' toughest challenges. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing precise welding, fabrication, and assembly work on various metal components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in multiple welding techniques to contribute effectively to our manufacturing and fabrication projects. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) welding techniques to join metals according to ASME codes & standards Use hand tools, grinders, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble sheet metal and ductwork Lay out, positions, , aligns, and fits components together Conduct pipe threading, soldering, machining, rigging, and assembly tasks with precision Assemble parts by bolting and riveting Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment safely during material handling and installation processes Measure dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure quality control Follow safety protocols on manufacturing floors while maintaining a clean work environment Polishing various metals Qualifications Proven experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and plasma cutting welding techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes including sheet metal work, ductwork assembly and handrail assembly Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication tasks Experience operating forklifts or similar lifting equipment is preferred Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication is a plus Polishing experience a plus Carpentry experience a plus Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced fabrication shop Requires PPE such as steel toe boots / eye protection / hearing protection / etc. Must be able to walk on unlevel terrain and climb ladders or stairs, or work off of platforms using appropriate safety gear and tools Must be able to meet all physical requirements including standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting for extended periods of time May be required to lift, carry and move up to 70 lbs Join our team to be part of a company committed to excellence in engineering and fabrication!
