MIG Welder - 2nd Shift

Express Employment is seeking MIG Welders in the Monticello, IN area. You will be responsible for the fabrication or repair of different products and material. You will follow instructions from blueprints and diagrams to specified layouts and work orders. Previous experience in Metal Fab and Welding is required for this position.

Shift Pay:

Positions starting at minimum $17.50/hr and up based on experience with opportunities for more experienced candidates.

Responsibilities:

MIG Welder Weld material and parts using MIG welding processes Weld along vertical or overhead weld lines Read and interpret prints showing weldments Lays out, positions work pieces using jigs, fixtures, clamps as required prior to tack welding Read and follow all weld instructions prior to setup of individual welding procedures and specifications Responsible for inspecting and measuring welds and making appropriate repairs as necessary Related tasks such as grinding and thermal cutting

Requirements:

MIG Welder 1 year minimum experience in MIG Welding and Metal Fabrication or relevant education Ability to understand written instructions Ability to read and interpret various blueprints Basic math and measurement Ability to use a tape measure Lifting up to 50lbs Standing, bending, stooping and kneeling at times
