In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products and structures, ensuring they meet strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical proficiency, mechanical knowledge, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong craftsmanship and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and MCAW (Metal-Cored Arc Welding) welding techniques to join various metals with precision. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment. Measure materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment. Fabricate custom parts by cutting, bending, and assembling components according to specifications. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling tasks in the workshop. Assist in mechanical assembly of structures or equipment, ensuring all parts fit correctly according to schematics. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience or background in manufacturing environments involving metal fabrication. Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW welding techniques. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills necessary for precise measurements. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and rigging procedures. Ability to operate forklifts safely.
