Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder - II to join our manufacturing and construction teams. In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced welding tasks on various metal components, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, including proficiency in multiple welding techniques and the ability to interpret complex blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale fabrication projects, construction site work, and manufacturing processes that demand meticulous craftsmanship and mechanical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <
LOCATION
> welding techniques on diverse materials such as sheet metal, pipe, and ductwork Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure components meet specified dimensions Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Perform pipe threading, rigging, and assembly tasks in accordance with project specifications Maintain compliance with ASME codes & standards during welding and fabrication activities Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and schematics to verify accuracy Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing floors to complete projects on time Support mechanical knowledge application through troubleshooting, minor repairs, or adjustments as needed Follow safety protocols diligently while working with cranes, forklifts, or heavy machinery

> welding preferred Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and press brake machines Knowledge of fabrication processes including sheet metal work, ductwork assembly, pipe threading, and machining Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations Familiarity with rigging operations involving cranes or forklifts for material handling Understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication projects Ability to perform soldering when required for specific applications Experience working within manufacturing or construction environments with adherence to safety regulations This role is integral to ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards while supporting the successful completion of diverse projects.
