Welder

Job Overview Atkinson Doors & Hardware is seeking a full-time Welder to support our commercial door and hardware, overhead door, and garage door operations. This role focuses on fabrication and modification of doors and frames, material handling, and occasional field support. Key Responsibilities

• Weld hollow metal frames and modify hollow metal doors for hardware installation
• Modify wood slab doors for hardware installation and glazing (glass window) preparation.
• Load delivery trucks with frames, doors, and hardware.
• Operate a forklift to move materials; deliver materials to jobsites and pick up freight as needed.
• Organize, label, and store materials in the shop and warehouse.
• Occasionally assist installers in the field. Schedule

Preferred:

previous welding experience

• Ability to read and understand architectural elevations and schematics
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to lift to 75 lbs.
