Shift:

1st & 2nd shift Job Description Perform high-quality welding tasks to produce durable, reliable products. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and adapt to company processes. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities Read and interpret measurements using a standard tape measure. Execute basic math calculations for accurate fabrication. Demonstrate proficiency in welding and pass a welding test. Ensure mechanical aptitude by understanding and working with mechanical systems and tools. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding, particularly MIG welding. Ability to read a standard tape measure and perform basic math calculations. Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints. Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Additional Skills & Qualifications Completion of welding classes or prior welding experience is a plus. Work Environment Work in a metal manufacturing facility that is non-temperature controlled. The environment is practical and clean, necessary for quality production. Shifts available include 1st Shift (6am-4pm M-R), 2nd Shift (3:30pm-11:30pm M-R), Weekend Shift (6am-6pm F, S, S), and Early Bird Shift (3:30am-12pm M-F). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, KY 40065. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
