MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding to join various metals according to specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and modify materials. Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Read schematics and mechanical drawings to guide fabrication processes for ductwork, pipe threading, sheet metal assemblies, and structural components. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Follow ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication work while maintaining safety protocols at all times. Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, assembly processes, rigging, soldering, machining, and ductwork fabrication. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to operate forklifts safely; experience with plasma cutting and sheet metal work is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
