Pipefitter / Pipe Welders - Long Term in Breaux Bridge, LA

AXIOS Industrial Solutions is hiring experienced Pipe Welders / Pipe Fitters to support high-spec fabrication work in an ASME code environment. This role is ideal for candidates who can both fit and weld pipe across a variety of materials while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform pipe fit-up and welding in a fabrication/shop environment Weld using TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and/or Flux Core (FCAW) Work with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, 4130, copper-nickel, and other alloys Read and interpret isometric drawings, spool sheets, and WPS/PQRs Ensure all work meets ASME code and project specifications Produce welds that pass visual inspection and NDT requirements Maintain proper alignment, tolerances, and quality during fit-up and assembly Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, Pipe Fitter, or Combo Welder/Fitter Ability to fit pipe independently and weld to code Experience with multiple alloys and industrial piping systems Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate layout/fit-up Must be able to pass a weld test (6G/6GR preferred) Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety-first mindset
