We are looking to hire an ISO Chassis Mechanic to maintain trailer chassis by installing and repairing brakes, suspension parts, pneumatic and hydraulic system parts. This colleague must be a certified welder.

Shift Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM This position is for our Chalmette, LA branch at 100 Intermodal Dr, Chalmette, LA 70043.

Pay Range:

$15.00 to $35.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Repair frames and metal truck trailers Modify and reconstruct chassis Installing electric wiring for dome lights and tailgates Fitting and assembling components Use hand tools and portable power tools Weld (Certification required) as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

Must be a Certified Welder (Certification must be shown upon time welding test is given) Must have at least 3 years' experience as a Chassis/Trailer Mechanic Possess strong communication skills Detailed oriented Ability to effectively prioritize work Ability to thrive in a team environment High school diploma or GED
