TIG/MIG Welder Fabricator TIG/MIG Welder Fabricator responsible for welding, fabricating, assembling, testing, and servicing stainless steel and mild steel vacuum furnace components and systems. Job Requirements 4+ years of MIG or TIG welding experience Experience with 6G welding position or fixed-pipe welding Experience with thick welds Experience welding with filler rod Experience fabricating stainless steel and mild steel components Experience reading and working from component drawings Experience using TIG and MIG welding equipment Experience using grinding tools, band saws, and plasma torches Ability to meet drawing specifications, including dimensions, angles, flatness, weld preparation, penetration, and porosity requirements Experience anticipating and compensating for stress or movement in welded components Experience fabricating custom components and assemblies Preferred Skills Orbital welding experience Experience fabricating gas distribution systems Experience fabricating mild steel frames Experience fabricating stainless steel vacuum chambers Experience fabricating stainless steel vacuum piping Experience assembling vacuum furnaces Experience operating or testing vacuum furnaces Field service experience with vacuum furnaces or related components Job Responsibilities Fabricate stainless steel and mild steel components and assemblies according to drawings Perform TIG welding on custom components and assemblies Perform MIG welding on custom components and assemblies Perform fixed-position pipe welding, including 6G-position welding when required Perform thick welds using filler rod Use grinding tools, band saws, plasma torches, and related fabrication equipment Fabricate gas distribution systems Support orbital welding for gas distribution systems Fabricate mild steel frames, stainless steel vacuum chambers, and stainless steel vacuum piping Meet drawing requirements for dimensions, angles, flatness, weld preparation, penetration, and porosity Anticipate welding-related stress, movement, and distortion in fabricated components Compensate for stress, movement, and distortion during fabrication Assemble vacuum furnaces, including piping, frames, and gas distribution systems Operate and test vacuum furnaces Load, monitor, and unload vacuum furnaces during testing or operation Evaluate and change fluids as needed Repair or replace insulation as required Perform field service on vacuum furnaces and components

Pay:
