$21.00/hr (Day Shift) $22.00/hr (Night Shift)

You'll be: Setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment including automatic band cutters, welders, grinders, and annealers to produce finished band saw blades. Receiving coil stock, cutting material to size, adjusting welding machines, and performing welding operations based on established specifications. Transferring welded blades to grinders, performing visual checks for proper weld and alignment, and removing welding flash using grinding equipment. Maintaining equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, and completing required documentation and maintenance logs. Observing all safety rules and employing all necessary safety equipment and devices. Running a wide-width band weld line and performing related duties as required in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers. Possess 1-2 years of relevant experience (preferred). Are comfortable with the use of numbers, including decimals. Can perform light physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, or pulling 5 to 25 pounds. Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Are attentive to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Thrive in a dynamic, innovative, and supportive team environment.
