Location:
Natick, MA We are seeking an experienced Orbital Welder for a temporary opportunity supporting high-purity manufacturing environments in biopharma, semiconductor, and aerospace industries . This role focuses on automated orbital GTAW (TIG) welding of stainless steel and specialty alloys to create clean, leak-proof piping systems. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate orbital welding equipment (AMI, Swagelok, Magnatech) Configure weld heads and optimize parameters such as current, travel speed, and pulse settings Prepare materials with precision cutting, facing, deburring, and contamination-free cleaning Perform fit-up and tack welding as needed using TIG techniques Execute high-purity gas purging to maintain weld integrity Inspect welds visually and with tools (e.g., borescopes) to ensure quality standards Document weld data for traceability in regulated environments Qualifications 2-5+ years of orbital welding experience (training available for strong TIG welders) Proficiency with automated welding systems and thin-wall tubing Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings Familiarity with ASME, AWS, or similar codes preferred Experience in cleanroom or high-purity environments a plus Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD & D Insurance If you're a detail-oriented welding professional ready to contribute to precision manufacturing, click .
