Study work orders, flow sheets, blueprints, vendor specs, and P&IDs to identify the issue and map out the repair or installation. Execute TIG, MIG, and stick welding; select the right process for the job. Perform welding, brazing, and soldering for repair, replacement, and installation on stainless and carbon steel plate and pipe, plus aluminum, copper, and other metals. Use hand, power, and shop tools with confidence and care. Assemble and install process equipment; handle pipe fitting, rigging, and equipment installation safely. Diagnose faults, troubleshoot effectively, and solve problems at the source. Carry out preventive maintenance, including lubrication as needed and directed. Keep accurate records with timely data entry into the work order system. Pitch in with other assigned tasks that keep operations moving.
