You'll be responsible for preparing materials, cutting, grinding, and ensuring they are meticulously cleaned before welding. You will expertly configure welding machinery for various materials and thicknesses and ensure precision in completed welds by utilizing measurement tools like calipers and gauges. Your keen eye for detail will help identify any assembly or cosmetic defects, ensuring only the highest standards are met. Complete your tasks punctually in line with manufacturing schedules while always adhering to safety protocols. Physical activity is involved, with the ability to manage 50 lbs being necessary. •
Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace welding. Proficient computer skills (minimum 5 years), particularly in Microsoft Excel, and strong mathematical ability. At least 1 year of exposure to basic welding and metallurgy. Ability to read, interpret, and act upon work instructions. Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workplace. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
