Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder/Skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet safety standards, quality specifications, and project deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication tasks, from sheet metal work to complex structural assemblies, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication tools. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components. Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <

> welding to join metals securely. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts. Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Operate rigging equipment and cranes safely for lifting heavy materials during fabrication or installation processes. Fabricate ductwork, piping, sheet metal structures, and mechanical assemblies in accordance with ASME codes & standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize manufacturing processes. Assist in pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly tasks as needed for project completion. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols. Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and press brake operations. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for precise fabrication work. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, forklifts, machining tools, and mechanical systems. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices. Ability to operate cranes safely for lifting heavy components during assembly or installation projects. Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, soldering techniques, and schematic reading is highly desirable.
