82TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Welder in the Baltimore MD area!Full-Time Opportunity!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Industrial or warehouse setting in Baltimore, MD area
- May involve exposure to heat, noise, and heavy equipment
- Full-time schedule with possible overtime depending on production needs
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on steel and metal components as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Cut, grind, and prepare materials prior to welding
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance withspecifications
- Repair and modify metal structures, equipment, and fabrication components
- Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
- Assist with general fabrication and warehouse support duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior welding experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting preferred
- Ability to pass welding test (MIG/TIG/stick depending on assignment)
- Ability to read basic blueprints and measurements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
PAY RATE
$23- 27 per hour(based on experience)
