Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Fabricator/Automotive Technician, where you will play a vital role in constructing, repairing, and customizing automotive components with precision and expertise. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills, welding proficiency, and fabrication knowledge in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship. You will work with a variety of tools and techniques to bring automotive projects to life, ensuring safety and durability at every step. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble automotive parts. Use MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <
LOCATION
> welding techniques to join sheet metal and other materials with precision. Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and pipe threading equipment to shape and assemble components. Measure dimensions accurately using calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure parts meet specifications. Fabricate ductwork, piping systems, and custom automotive structures following ASME codes & standards. Perform rigging, mechanical assembly, machining, soldering, and plasma cutting tasks to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction site practices, crane operation, forklift handling, and construction safety standards. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with hands-on fabrication or automotive repair background. Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, <
LOCATION
> welding, and plasma cutting. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Experience operating cranes, forklifts, press brake machines, power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems or manufacturing processes is highly desirable. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; experience with pipe threading is a plus. Strong understanding of safety standards including ASME codes & standards; capable of rigging and assembly tasks confidently.
