Welder

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints effectively. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in the construction and fabrication of metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize Mig(GMAW) and Tig(GTAW) Set-up and run production weld equipment (manual and robotic) Interface with engineering to optimize welding robot programs Operate cranes and other lifting equipment to position heavy materials safely during the welding process. Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision and quality. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Practice "Lean" processes unique to position Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven experience in welding with strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents related to welding projects. Familiarity with various power tools used in the welding process. Experience within a manufacturing environment a plus Knowledge of soldering techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
