Job Description

If you're hardworking, safety-minded, and ready for steady work with a solid crew, come join our team as a Welder/Fabricator. This position involves fabricating, maintaining and repairing equipment essential for the concrete production and surface mining process. Job Responsibilities Perform welding tasks to fabricate and repair components of concrete production equipment and heavy equipment used in the surface mining process. Utilize various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to ensure the structural integrity and longevity of fabricated structures. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to identify and address potential issues proactively. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to accurately execute welding and fabrication tasks. Ensure the quality of welded components, meeting industry standards and specifications. Perform inspections and conduct quality checks on completed work to guarantee the reliability of fabricated structures. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including welding logs, maintenance reports, and other relevant documentation. Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations. Responsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Possession of a valid driver license Ability to pass a drug screen. Ability to pass a pre-employment physical. Proven experiences as a Welder, with a focus on fabrication and equipment maintenance. Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols related to welding and fabrication. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Commitment to safety and adherence to electrical codes and regulations. Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, twist, frequently lift up to 50 lbs. stretch, drive/sit. Must have excellent attendance record and be punctual. Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work; Saturdays and nights, may be required.
Preferred:
Welding Certification is preferred.
