This position is perfect for early career candidates or recent trade school graduates who want to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding and basic fabrication under supervision. Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions. Fit and assemble steel parts using jigs and measuring tools. Inspect welds visually to ensure quality standards are met. Operate grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools safely. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Participate in training to learn new welding and fabrication techniques. Requirements 0-2 years of welding experience or completion of a welding training program. Basic understanding of MIG welding (GMAW). Ability to read basic blueprints or willingness to learn. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Preferred Familiarity with structural steel fabrication or
AWS D1.1
standards. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
