Flint, MI Job Details Full-time $19.25 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Gas metal arc welding Full Job Description 2nd Shift MIG Welder (Assembly Support) Flint, MI $19.25/hour 2nd Shift (Afternoon/Evening) Position Overview We are seeking motivated and skilled MIG Welders to join our team in Flint, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal products and assisting in the manufacturing of automotive racking systems. The ideal candidate has experience with MIG welding, can read prints, and is comfortable working in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Welding & Fabrication Operate MIG welding equipment to weld carbon steel components of various thicknesses Perform welding in both horizontal and vertical positions Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to visualize finished products Inspect welds for quality and perform rework as needed, including repairing defects and filling holes Maintain adherence to company safety and quality standards Assembly Support Assist in the assembly of racking systems per work instructions Inspect parts for defects and properly scrap non-conforming materials Assemble components as required by production needs Maintain a clean and organized work area Support additional shop and production duties as assigned Qualifications Previous MIG welding experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints/prints Experience working with carbon steel preferred Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Why Join Us?
