Job Description
AA Anchor Bolt, Inc., a family-owned bolt manufacturer in Northville, MI has an immediate opening for a full-time Job-Shop FabricatorWelder. We are not looking for job seekers; we want a driven, passionate challenge seeker for our expanding business.
Position Overview:
Welders and Fabricators read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and prints to determine operations, required materials, and timeframes for projects. Responsible for material layout, cutting, forming, fabricating and welding products according to customer or employer specifications. Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment and other machinery used in the day-to-day operations of the position. They understand and implement personal and company safety measures by using common-sense and adhering to safety protocols such as wearing specialized clothing, goggles, helmets, gloves, and by keeping their area clean and organized. All welders and fabricators work closely with purchasing agents to maintain material needs. EducationExperience (Required): 2+ years of proven welding experience 2+ year fabricating experience including MIGArc Welding 1+ year machining experience (Iron Worker/Punch, Plate Shears, Saw, Drill Press, Overhead Cranes, Plasma, and Hi-Lows Proficient using various measuring tools Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawingsPhysicalCognitive Demands:
Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods as well as kneel, bend, crouch, and reach above their head. Must possess the ability to repeatedly lift and move material- up to 50 lbs.

Proficient in English Ability to work independently or with a team, with or without direct supervision Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism and accuracy under pressure Must have great problem-solving skills- communicate facts and provide recommendations in written or oral form. Ability to maintain positive relations within all levels of the organization Must be organized and adaptable

Possess a valid driver's license or state issued ID Must possess valid authorization to work for any U.S. employer Punctuality is required- Ready to work when the bell rings Must have your own reliable transportation
